StoryBombs - A Love Letter to Delia Derbyshire

Recorded at Hybrid Studios with an all-female group of young people from the local area. Lead by multi-talented female musicians and story tellers, Rebecca Hearne and Sarah Sharp, with assistance from Matt Ritchie and Al McGregor.

We learnt about the life and work of pioneering electronic music creator Delia Derbyshire, and how she overcame adversity to rise to fame in a male dominated area. Inspired by Delia’s story the girls wrote their very own “Love letter to Delia” with Words, Songs and Electronic Music.
