We would like to say a huge thank you to the Cultural Pipeline Fund for their support which has enabled us to secure funding, partnerships, and new opportunities for growth.

This six-month period has been transformative.

We successfully secured an Arts Council England Grassroots Music grant of £29,910, which will upgrade our recording studio and rehearsal spaces, improving our services for grassroots and developing artists. We are also prioritising accessibility with a new disabled toilet and improved website and booking systems.

This funding has allowed us to open up an Artist Development Program, in which we will commission and produce works by five local up-and-coming artists. This project will also include putting on a live paid gig for each artist at the studio.

We’ve also established a partnership with WaterBear College of Music, generating £25,000 annually through rented spaces during traditionally quiet hours.

Additionally, we’ve gained organisational capacity through Creative Trainees supported by the Children’s Capital of Culture Rotherham initiative, including a Marketing and Communications Trainee and a Sound Engineer Trainee.

These successes, combined with the development of a Youth Music Trailblazer application and plans for a KeyFund bid, position us for sustainable and impactful expansion.

We’ve achieved significant milestones, including:

Arts Council England Grassroots Music Grant: £29,910 to upgrade our facilities, commission new artists,

and make our spaces more accessible.

WaterBear College of Music Partnership: est. £25,000 annual revenue stream from rented spaces, providing financial stability and resource utilisation during off-peak hours.

Creative Traineeships: Recruitment of two paid trainees (Marketing and Communications, Sound Engineer) to strengthen our team’s capacity.

Funding Applications: A Youth Music Trailblazer application has been submitted, with a KeyFund application in development to provide working capital for Hybrid 3’s rapid expansion.

These achievements directly benefit the local community and demonstrate our capacity to attract funding and deliver on ambitious goals.
